How Do I Read Books from Smashwords

Books listed as being "on Smashwords"  can be read on a number of devices.  When you preview books or purchase them, you are given a choice of formats.  Not all books come on all of them, but most do.  So when it says a book is available "on Smashwords" they are usually on Kindle too.  Here are the formats available for books on Smashwords:

Epub (open industry format, good for Stanza reader, others) 
PDF (good for highly formatted books, or for home printing)
RTF (readable on most word processors)
